Power to the Youth.

Politics is killing the world. And politicians are the visible ILLUMINATI of today, steadily bringing the world to chaos without shame. Slowly the third and second world countries realize that as people grow older, they become greedier and it is up to the youth to save everyone, even though when they themselves will grow older they will follow the same footsteps.
I slowly am starting to realize that the youth is really stirring up and find myself being part of the crowd that really cares. A major, major flood has hit and the government is still doing what it does best: gobbling up whatever aid the other countries send. And who is active? The youth forum of Pakistan. The Rotaract clubs of Karachi. Not the adults. The under twenty-five groups. I'm getting calls to pack packages working endlessly till dawn, summoned to help in fund-raisers. And it seems that the only supplies the victims will get are the ones from us. We are frantic. We pick up aid from homes even. The adult-oriented NGO's would never do such. They just sit around whole days in camps waiting for aid to walk up to them.
People are horrified and despise the poor ones who migrate to karachi because the floods have washed away their own homes. They say that Karachi will overflow and it is not good. They dont understand what those affected feel. Despair. Homelessness. The only thought is of despicable provincial hatred. People migrate from sindh into sindh, their own home and yet the ones who do not belong here stir up commotion. The world has sunk into selfishness. No sympathy is left. They do not think that their God is watching them. Despicable.
Meanwhile in Sialkot, Punjab two brothers are beat to death by a mob. Their crime: winning a cricket match. The ones who lost bribed policemen to charge the boys to be robbers and gathered a huge round of people who beat the two with iron rods, hockey sticks and broke their bones. Even women helped. It is all in a video, I do not lie. And then even when they were dead the people did not rest. They were tied upside down like animal meat, to be showcased to the world, bare chested and DEAD. THEY WERE ALREADY DEAD. WHAT MORE HURT COULD ANYONE GIVE THEM? May they rest in peace. They were innocent. And now: what does the dear government do? They sit in the assembly and sleep. Yes that is in a video too. And so then who is signing petitions? Who is protesting? Who wants justice for their family and the merciless policemen to be thrown into jail? The youth ofcourse. The adults should be ashamed. They watch the videos without an expression of sorrow why we cry over the dead bodies of people we dont even know.
My heart is wrenched as i write this post. I cannot believe how people can be so greedy, so selfish, so uncaring. How? And these are the people who believe in God. What do they think? They are right and they are the ones who will be rewarded? Their rewards are already settled. They were settled when the first tear of the flood victims flowed. When the first pang of pain reverberated through the brother's bodies. When the first drop of blood poured through the target-killing's victims corpses.

That's how it is everywhere. If the govt did their job, world will be a good place.

And the mob, it happens all the time, but my revulsion upon readin such kinda incidents never ceases. It happens every other week (maybe, every day. Who knows), in India.

Good to hear that atleast someone is helping those victims. You just do ur bit. No point trying to reason with the senseless bastards !

yes..the power is in our hands...it's us who will have to bring change :) There are conflicts between the young and the old....and it's the young who will win..but the point is that when 'we' grow old..we should not be like the 'old' of this age

And the govt..well, the less said about politicians the better.. the only way to bring change is to get into the system without getting changed.. Form an 'illuminati' of your own..penetrate the system and then destroy it..to create a better one. The change should be seamless, lest it'll wreak havoc....

If the country a person lives in is based on the principles of democracy, the only way to bring significant change is to get into politics.. :).. Keep up the good work :) And do get your point through!
